Orchards Shopping Center is located on the Northeast corner of U.S. Highway 287 and East 29th Street. It is the largest and most dominant shopping center in the area. King Soopers completely remodelled their store in 2004.

Loveland, approximately 45 miles north of Denver, along with the other communities in the Front Range is experiencing rapid growth with a great deal of new home construction. Loveland's population is approximately 56,000 and is expected to increase by 2-3% per year within the next five years.
